I am a teacher and I write for passion and for pedagogical intent.

The book was born from my love for the original novel,

read in adolescence, and for the entire gothic genre.

It takes inspiration from Mary Shelley's story

but carries it forward through a personal reworking that will take another path.

The question that arises from the beginning is:

is there a real monster in the life of Doctor Frankenstein?
